Beginners' sessions will also include an introduction to basic fly fishing skills such as river craft, fly selection, catch and release of quarry.

For the more experienced angler a two hour session will allow you to polish existing skills and develop new casting techniques as well as increasing rivercraft and technical knowledge. Double-Handed Casting Tuition
Regarded by many as a dark art double handed Spey casting is the most essential requirement when fishing a double handed rod but is often thought of as difficult to learn. When taught in a structured and relaxed manner my clients invariably surprise themselves by how quickly they are able to acquire this vital skill.

Learning to cast left and right hand up the rod with single or double Spey cast ensures that the angler is able to cover the water regardless of the wind direction and location on the bank.

Beginners sessions will include roll and double Spey cast as well as an introduction to river craft, fly selection and catch and release.

For the more advanced rods the 2 hour sessions will prove an invaluable way of honing existing skills. These sessions can also be used to learn other exciting modern Spey casting techniques and will include discussion on more advanced salmon fishing tactics.
